We are pleased to offer game-changing, new features as part of our upgrade to Blue Prism v6.4. And, to ensure appropriate time to carry out upgrades and successfully validate new features, we are extending the life of v5.0—delaying the end of mainstream support from 1st April 2019 to 1st October 2019.

Version 6.4 furthers our commitment to providing smarter business solutions through a business-led, controlled, and intelligent, Digital Workforce equipped with Intelligent Automation Skills.
Exciting new features are available with the upgrade, including Six Intelligent Automation Skills that are easily downloaded from the Digital Exchange and accessible from the Object and Process Studio in the Skills tool bar, and Web API which provides a graphical user interface enabling 3rd party connections to be configured to Visual Business Objects (VBOs).
With plug and play capabilities directly in the core makeup of our Digital Workforce platform, v6.4 lets you consume best-in-class AI and cognitive technologies on the Digital Exchange, configure to Visual Business Objects (VBOs) and access in your toolbar for easy drag and drop.
Of course, you still have access to multi-team environments for controlling Digital Workers and processes within a single environment. But, with additional security features above and beyond v5.0, you’ll enjoy support for deployment in a broader range of environments.
Extending the Life of v5.0—Ensuring a Successful Transition
We highly recommend that all existing customers take steps to upgrade to the latest version of the Blue Prism platform to take full advantage of these advanced features. This also ensures we can continue to provide you with the best service coverage over the life of your product. If you are using an enterprise version, we are happy to provide you with an upgrade for free.
While end of life (EOL) is an established part of the overall life cycle of our products, we recognize that these transitions can be difficult. Upgrading software through a Center of Excellence across different business units and often different countries, can be a tremendous undertaking. Therefore, to help drive a successful transition, we are happy to delay the end of mainstream support for v5.0 from 1st April 2019 to 1st October 2019. We’re hoping this extension will give you more time to carry out upgrades, migrations, training and appropriately validate to take advantage of these new and exciting features.
